URBAN STRETCH YOGA

I’m Lisa Weber (she/her/hers).  I discovered vinyasa yoga as an adult when I was looking for ways to treat chronic pain.  What I found was so much more than that.  Yoga has become a way for me to quiet the mind and improve clarity and focus.  It has helped me grow stronger, healthier, and more physically comfortable in my own body.  I was motivated to become a certified yoga instructor because I wanted to share the physical, mental, and emotional benefits that I had been given.  Yoga truly can be for anyone and everyone.  I’m excited and honored for you to share your practice with me.

 

ABOUT ME

I completed my RYT 200 training at the Down Under School of Yoga in Brookline, MA.  I have always been a city girl and have practiced yoga in both spacious health club studios and tiny studio apartments. I am an avid transportation enthusiast with a focus on advocacy for accessible transit.  I am also a founding member of an LGBT-affirming local community chorus and co-creator of an initiative to support artists with disabilities.
